Hey, I don't know anything about Microsoft Windows XP registry cleaners. All I know is that my PC isn't running right and there's this guy in the office, our programmer? We call hime "the Geek", 'cause he wears black shoes that Velcro shut, white socks and brown pants, a reversible belt and shirts that snap and has a pocket protector, so I guess he knows something about computers. He mumbles, too. I was complaining about my system acting up at home and crashing and running slow and he said, "Prollythgstree..." which I deciphered to mean "Probably the Registry."
I asked him what the registry was and he sort of smirked and said, "User" as if it were a dirty word, then told me to Google "Microsoft Windows XP registry cleaner", without the quotes. I did and I found out what the registry is on your computer. It's kind of like the indexing system where the machine keeps track of everything on it, an inventory system sort of. And like any inventory system, sometimes what the books say don't agree with what's really on the shelves or in stock.
A registry cleaner tries to fix that for you and there's a lot of them out there on the market. One thing I did learn is, DON'T mess with the registry by hand unless you dress like "the Geek". 'cause if you mess it up, things only get worse, and then you have even more problems. So, find a good Microsoft Windows XP registry cleaner program and there's a good chance a lot of your headaches will go away.
